Kawaii Kon 2007
Kawaii kon is back! Hawaii’s one and only Anime Convention. This was the 3rd year for this show and the attendance numbers grew larger and larger.
Costume Contest History
Last year a 19 year old girl named Lauren Lee took the masters division title at Kawaii Kons Costume Contest for her rendition of Princess Tutu. She’s been making costumes for quite some time (Since 2003 I believe), so I’d say she’s pretty experienced.
Don’t get it twisted though, even though it may seem like everyone is “In it to win it”, that is totally not the case with Kawaii Kon, all the attendees and the competitiors just want to have a good time and meet new people. After all, Kawaii Kon is more of a “Community” than it is and Event.
