Rules to participate

• The Anime Swap Meet is intended for used items, items from personal collections, or self-made arts / crafts only – see our detailed Guidelines for Items for Sale tab
• You must be 18 years or older to sell at the ASM
• To participate, you must sign up via our online form
  • Slots will be filled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis
  • Booth spaces will be assigned on the day of the event
  • Registration must be completed and submitted no later than 12 June 2026 @ 11:59pm and will be filled in a first come first serve aspect
    • Please note: that ASM does tend to fill out quickly, so form submittal may close earlier than the above date
  • Vending fee is $50 per space, with TWO SPACES per person MAX
    • Each space is approximately 5ft by 5ft and will be pre-taped on the floor
    • Payment for all spaces must be paid at the start of the event prior to being assigned your space(s)
  • The event will be held on Fathers Day weekend, 20-21 June 2026 from 10AM – 5PM on each day
    • Setup and breakdown times and procedures will be announced as we get closer to the event
  • Each seller is responsible for their own products, display, security, and safety
  • As the vending space is on the floor, use of a low stool, floor mat, blanket, beach towel, beach chair, comfy cushion, etc are allowed in your space and suggested
  • Full height tables, shelves, displace cases, or similar are NOT ALLOWED at the ASM
  • You may bring 1 (ONE) full sized garment rack per space
  • Electricity is NOT available for use, do not use any outlets near you or the venue may charge you a usage fee

Guidelines for Items for Sale

Items allowed for sale are limited to the following:

• Individuals selling off portions of their personal collections from any type or genre of goods – anime, comics, cards, figures, video games, consumer electronics, etc are all acceptable – please note: while called the ‘Anime’ Swap Meet, it is open to any and all genre of collections / collectables – there is no requirement to have or sell any anime-related goods for participation at the ASM
• Self-made crafts and / or art pieces

Items prohibited for sale at the ASM:

• Unlicensed, bootleg, or counterfeit goods of any kind
• Commercial items purchased for resale or backstock of resale items
• Any and all adult material of any kind
• Food sales of any kind
• Items that are illegal
• Real weapons of any kind
• Any items deemed questionable, unfit, unsafe, or appear to fall outside the spirit represented in these guidelines, as determined by the ASM crew, the Staff at the Hawaii Video Game Marketplace, and / or the Neal Blaisdell Center staff, who are the final arbiters
