At Kawaii Kon, there are two types of art auction events, Live Art Auction and Silent Art Auction.

We ask artists in the artist alley to submit their own art pieces to be auctioned off to interested buyers. The pieces submitted are exclusive to the auction, which means you will not get them anywhere else! Also, several of the auctioned pieces will help support charity, with part of the proceeds going to a good cause.

Live Art Auction

  • The Live Art Auction is held on Saturday of Kawaii Kon in the Special Events room
  • Interested buyers will receive a numbered paddle to participate in the auction
    • Participation rules will be explained during the event
    • Serious bidders only may participate. Those who break the rules will be asked to leave the room.
  • Exclusive items signed by our special guests are presented at this event
  • Successful bidders may pick up their pieces at the Artist Alley staff booth located in the Exhibit Hall
  • Any unsold pieces will be transferred to the Silent Art Auction

Silent Art Auction

  • The Silent Art Auction starts after the Live Art Auction ends and is held in the Artist Alley section of the Exhibit Hall. Then it will end when Artist Alley close on Saturday.
  • The pieces up for bid will be displayed on/near a wire rack near the Artist Alley staff booth
    • The Silent Auction Bid Sheet is also located at the Artist Alley staff booth
  • Successful bidders will be contacted the Sunday morning of the Kon to pick up and purchase their pieces
