Kawaii Kon 2019 Feedback Survey

By April 18, 2019April 22nd, 2019Front Page

This year’s Kawaii Kon was crazy! We’ve now spent a full 15 years together, (a total of 45 days if you’ve been attending since year 1!), and we hope you had as much fun as we did at our anniversary celebration! We could never have made it this far without all of you attendees, exhibitors, artists, and volunteers. Kawaii Kon is a product of the community here in Hawaii, and we are so grateful for your support and proud of what we have built together.

Over 14,000 unique carbon based life forms, anime characters, gamers, shoppers, volunteers, exhibitors, artists, and anime fans joined us to celebrate this past Kawaii Kon. Quality should always come before quantity and as we’ve worked to make our con bigger and better each year, it’s been pretty incredible to watch Kawaii Kon grow from under 2,000 people in its first year to over 7 times that, and see a lot of you grow up along with us.

Just because we’ve reached 15 years and had possibly untoppable guests like Aya Hirano, Mana, Stephanie Sheh, Sahr Ngaujah, and Mika Kobayashi, and had the largest Video Gaming and Tabletop Gaming setups in Hawaii doesn’t mean we can stop improving and striving to make the con more of what you want it to be. We would really love to hear what you liked and what you would change for our 16th con – what guests would blow your mind, what games you are looking forward to beating your friends at, and just generally how we can improve your experience from when you walk through our doors to when you finally get some sleep Sunday night.

Fill out our feedback form here, or leave a comment to tell us about your experience. The form does not require a name/contact info if you prefer to be anonymous.

Finally, we’re already planning for our 2020 show – May 15-17, 2020. The theme for the next Kawaii Kon is going to be sports to celebrate the Tokyo Olympics so if you get inspired to draw our mascots winning the gold, we’d love to see it!
