Mai Nakahara is a Japanese voice actress and singer.  Born in Hyogo prefecture, she moved around Japan and spent a lot of her childhood in Fukuoka and Ehime.  She wanted to be a voice actress from the 5th grade, after watching Tico of the Seven Seas.  After her school years, she studied narration while working full time and debuted with I’m Enterprise in 2000.

Since her debut, she has voice several lead heroines, including up to 4 in the same season!  You may know her as Nagisa Furukawa from CLANNAD.

She has also voiced Mai Tokiha from My-HiME and My-Otome, Rena Ryuuguu from Higurashi: When They Cry, Midori Kasugano from Midori Days, Miina Miyafuji from Onegai☆Twins!, Juvia Lockser from Fairy Tail, Watashi (I) from Humanity has Declined, and Saya Mihoshi from Servant x Service.  Furthermore, she was Yuu Kashima from Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Teru Miyanaga from Saki, Yui Takamura from Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, Teana Lanster from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, Selnia Iori Flameheart from Ladies versus Butlers!, Nagisa Aoi from Strawberry Panic and many many more!

In video games, you’ve probably heard her recently as Seele in the popular mobile RPG Honkai: Star Rail as well as Europa and Gayne in Granblue Fantasy.  She has also voiced Blaze from Arknights, Morgan from Tears to Tiara, Estellise Sidos Heurassein from Tales of Vesperia, Nakoruru from The King of Fighters XIV, and recently Akagi from Azur Lane.
